The first phase of Springfield’s Expansion opened to the public today as Fast Food Blvd. gives guests the chance to try some of the most popular food & drink options from the popular TV show, The Simpsons.
The new counter service restaurant, which replaced the International Food & Film Festival (IFF), offers several different options based on off some of the known eateries in the show. They include Krusty Burger, Moe’s, Cletus’ Chicken Shack, Luigi’s, The Frying Dutchman, and a Moe’s sub-section; The Flaming Moe!
Here, guests can finally try 3 of the most popular beverages from the show. The Flaming Moe does indeed smoke, but there is no flame. It is also non-alcoholic, so guests of all ages can try the beverage. Duff Beer is a very by-the-book lager, and comes in 3 varieties; Duff, Duff Lite, and Duff Dry. Buzz Cola is a traditional cola with a hint of cherry.

The expansive, new area within Universal Studios will allow guests to walk the streets of Springfield. Although Fast Food Blvd. is open, it is not 100% complete. We anticipate it to be completely finished when the rest of the expansion opens. Future expansion plans include a Duff Brewery Seating/Bar area, Kang & Kodos’ Twirl ‘n’ Hurl spinning attraction, and other areas and locales that will help bring Springfield to life.
