Want to send a letter via owl? Here’s how!
While visiting The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, you’ll find the exciting rides and attractions that the land is famous for. However, if you look closely, you can also find a lot of hidden treasures as well. One of those hidden treasures is the ability to send letters and postcards to your family and friends and let them know you’ve visited the town of Hogsmeade.
Sending a letter
The mailing station underneath the Owlery
The post box, where you’ll be able to mail your letter
Once you’ve entered the land and walk underneath the Owlery, you’ll stumble upon a few outdoor carts. One cart will allow you to purchase official Hogsmeade stationary, where you can write your family, friends or coworkers. Once you’ve filled out the letter, you can have an Owlery team member stamp your envelope or postcard will an official ink stamp that can only be found in the town of Hogsmeade.
All mailings are required to have postage, but if you don’t have stamps with you, don’t fret! Hogsmeade has you covered with two options. One stamp has Hogwarts castle and the other option is the Hogwarts Express. Each sheet of stamps includes ten stamps and each sheet costs $14.95.
Various stationary available in Hogsmeade
Wizarding World stamps
After you’ve filled out the letter and put a desired recipient along with your official Hogsmeade stamps, take the letter or postcard and place it inside the wood cabinet that says, “Post” and drop inside the slot. From there, let the owls do their work and fly it to the proper person.
