When he isn’t busy time traveling, Doc Brown serves a mean dish of chicken. Mash potatoes, biscuits, french fries and more – Doc’s the place to go.
» Location: Next to the Simpsons Ride and directly across from the Kwik-E-Mart.
» What do they serve?: Chicken tenders, chicken, chicken ceasar sandwich, grilled chicken salad and fried shrimp.
» Pricing: Expensive. Plates range from $8.49 USD upwards to $12.99. Portions are decent, but the high starting price per plate makes Doc’s one of the more expensive food options within the park.
» Our take: Doc’s is good. Really good. Call us obsessive fans of the Back to the Future franchise, but Doc Brown’s Chicken has always had a special place in our theme park hearts. Not only is the food quite decent for theme park fare, but the restaurant’s position next to the Simpsons Ride and the Kwik-E-Mart seem to embody the Universal “tossed salad” spirit. Either way, Doc serves good food in decent portions.
Just be weary of the seating located next to the restaurant (otherwise known as Simpsons Plaza). The entire area has extremely high traffic, so finding a seat may be a difficult task. Luckily, additional seating can be found behind the Cantina (just look for the raining canopy).
