Universal Studios Hollywood has introduced a new Silver Annual Pass; along with the new option of Flex Pay payments for Platinum, Gold, and Silver Passholders. According to the Universal Studios Hollywood website, the Silver Annual Pass is now available for $169 if you purchase online, and $179 at the front gate. The Silver pass allows you 270 days during the duration of the pass with no discount on food and merchandise. Universal Studios Hollywood’s new summer offering – The Nighttime Lights at Hogwarts Castle – will officially debut on June 23. Universal was gracious enough to invite Inside Universal to a media preview of the all-new nighttime experience. On May 23, Universal CityWalk found its wings by having famed pen and ink artist Kelsey Montague unveil her latest interactive murals. It’s only fitting that one of the world’s most famous interactive artist leaves her mark at one of the most popular tourist destinations. Guests will be able to pose in front of the murals at either location. The angel wings are located next to Cinnabon; the headphone mural is located directly across from the newly-renovated Universal Cinema. On June 1, CityWalk Hollywood invited Inside Universal to a Voodoo Doughnut tasting event where we were able to sample the many varieties of exotic and delicious doughnuts. Voodoo Doughnut originated in Portland, Oregon and have opened seven stores across the United States since, with the CityWalk Hollywood venue being the first in the state of California. Universal Studios Hollywood has now begun technical rehearsals for their new nighttime spectacular The Nighttime Lights at Hogwarts Castle. While the show does not officially begin until June 23, Universal began technical rehearsals on May 27.
