After an almost 5-year absence, the Green Eggs & Ham sign has returned to the cafe. The sign was removed sometime in 2019 before the restaurant reopened with the revamped, and more popular, tater tot menu. Universal Studios Hollywood is celebrating the upcoming release of Wicked with all-new experiences and exclusive merchandise inspired by the film. The Feature Presentation store within the theme park has reopened, showcasing designs inspired by the film and offering a variety of new merchandise, including shirts, candles, dolls, drinkware, and more. Additionally, the UNIVRS store at Universal CityWalk Hollywood is also selling Wicked merchandise. Over at Hollywood & Dine, a Wicked-inspired menu is now available – with options including the Bewitching Bacon Burger, the Drizzmatic Corn Dog, and the Ozmopolitan. Mini Monster Cafe at Universal CityWalk Hollywood has officially closed. The cafe’s last day of operation was Oct 23, 2024. Universal Destinations & Experiences has teased an upcoming announcement for their new year-round haunted attraction in Vegas – Universal Horror Unleashed. The announcement is appropriately scheduled for Halloween, Oct 31, 2024. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M8970sqFaC0 No specifics about what the announcement will entail were given. The new concept will be located at AREA15 in Las Vegas and is Universal’s first permanent attraction, featuring next-level immersive experiences in an all-new format, with “horror-centric experiences surrounding “eerie eateries” and “bone-chilling” bar areas”. Universal Orlando has officially delayed the opening for Universal Terra Luna Resort to March 25, 2025. The hotel was originally slated to open on February 25. Universal Terra Luna and its sister hotel, Universal Stella Nova Resort, are adjacent to Epic Universe – Universal’s new theme park set to open on May 22, 2025. Universal Stella Nova Resort is still scheduled to open January 21, 2025 The hotels place guests in the center of marvelous galaxies and diverse planetary elements for “an experience unlike anywhere else in the universe”. Universal Orlando Annual Passholders can now purchase single-day tickets for Epic Universe. Tickets are available through December 30, 2025, starting at $122 before tax. Ticket prices for the park’s first 2 weeks of opening in May range from $156 to $164. Currently, there is over an hour’s wait in the website’s virtual queue, and Universal states that Opening Day Tickets are currently unavailable.
