Prepare thy bank accounts! Universal Orlando has released merchandise for this year’s Halloween Horror Nights 31 over at the recently rethemed All Hallows’ Eve Boutique at Islands of Adventure. The store recently ditched the tiki summer vibe in lieu of pumpkins and vintage Halloween decor as Universal gears up for the 2022 Halloween season. So far, the merchandise released features 4 different design lines. The main design is heavily inspired by traditional Halloween, featuring oranges and greens and the familiar iconography of skeletons, pumpkins, black cats, and witches; along with the tagline “Every day is Halloween”. Universal Orlando has confirmed that the Summer Tribute Store at Universal Studios Florida will be closing on August 7. The limited-time retail store transports guests to a 1980s movie theater featuring rooms based on some of Universal Pictures’ iconic films – “E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial,” “JAWS” and “Back to the Future”. Once the Store closes, the transition to the Halloween Horror Nights Tribute Store should begin immediately. Universal Orlando is now offering the option of having a foam-free Butterbeer, allowing for those with special dietary needs to be able to now enjoy the famed beverage. Foam-free Butterbeer is available for all 3 versions of the drink – regular, frozen, and hot. The foam-free option makes Regular and Frozen Butterbeer dairy-free and vegan-friendly. During a panel at Midsummer Scream 2022, John Murdy announced Scarecrow: The Reaping will be featured as a haunted house at Halloween Horror Nights 2022 at Universal Studios Hollywood. The original house will be Hollywood’s take on a house that was featured in Orlando at their event in 2017. Set during the Dust Bowl era in America’s Midwest, guests will enter abandoned farmhouses where scarecrows are creating new ones from trespassers. Universal Orlando has released information and prices for multi-night tickets, such as the Frequent Fear Pass, along with other extras for this year’s Halloween Horror Nights 31 at Universal Studios Florida. Guests can purchase the Rush of Fear Pass, which allows them to visit the first 17 event nights, for $129.99+tax. Adding the Express option will increase the Rush of Fear price to $429.99+tax. For the extreme horror fan, guests can purchase the Ultimate Frequent Fear Pass – which allows guests to every night of Halloween Horror Nights. Florida’s biggest Christian music festival returns as Universal Orlando has announced that Rock the Universe will be held on January 27-29, 2023. Rock the Universe lets fans enjoy performances by some of Christian music’s top artists, offers worship experiences, and a chance to enjoy theme park attractions during an unforgettable weekend of “faith, fun, and fellowship” at Universal Studios Florida. Universal Parks has released a new Jurassic World Raptor Egg Popcorn bucket at both Universal Orlando and Universal Studios Hollywood. The popcorn bucket is a raptor egg that features a baby raptor hatching from the top. The bucket is available at Universal Orlando for $25 (with the first fill free).
