The Betty Boop Store at Islands of Adventure has finally closed to make way for the new UOAP Lounge. The original UOAP Lounge, located in Universal Studios Florida, closed on December 31, 2022. The Lounge was exclusive to Universal’s Annual Passholders and allowed them to manage their AP account, shop exclusive UOAP merch, or just relax. Universal hasn’t announced any information on the new Lounge, including an opening date. To celebrate the announcement of Halloween Horror Nights 32’s dates and tickets, Universal Orlando has dropped new “See You in the Fog” merchandise at select retail locations around the Resort. “See you in the Fog” has been used in the fan community for many years as a pleasantry, essentially meaning “See you around Horror Nights”. The merchandise line includes a glow-in-the-dark T-Shirt ($33), coffee mug ($16),  magnet ($9), trucker hat ($30), and a scented candle – which can be described as a light musky aroma ($26). Universal Orlando has announced dates for this year’s Halloween Horror Nights, taking place September 1, 2023, through October 31, 2023. Halloween Horror Nights 32 will take place on the following record-breaking 44 nights this fall: September: 1-3, 6-10, 13-17, 20-24, & 27-30 October: 1, 4-8, 11-15, 18-22, 25-29, & 31 This year’s event will once again feature 10 haunted houses, 5 scare zones, and live entertainment featuring the top names in horror entertainment. Universal Studios Hollywood has announced that the “Dark Arts at Hogwarts Castle” nighttime show will be returning this March, with select dates starting March 25 through August 13, 2023. Universal Orlando has announced that their nighttime show, Universal’s Cinematic Celebration, has officially ended its run. We have closed Universal Orlando’s Cinematic Celebration to make way for a new nighttime show experience that will debut at Universal Studios Florida in the future. On the heels of Universal Parks & Resorts rebranding the company to Universal Destinations & Experiences, Universal Orlando has rolled out new logos for the Resort itself, as well as for the 3 theme parks and CityWalk. The new logos have a much more modern look while retaining the basic concepts of the original logos. Each theme park logo also features a circular/globe-like design, adding a shared visual link.
