Original Story Below After a few months of sitting dormant, construction walls have arrived and now surround the Animal Actors Soundstage, also known as Stage 57. Meanwhile, the Castle Theatre, where the Special Effects Show was located, is still blocked off by barricades. After nearly 24 years, the Temple of Poseidon was permanently sealed as Poseidon’s Fury officially closed. Located in the Lost Continent, Poseidon’s Fury was a walkthrough attraction where guests are caught in the middle of a battle between Poseidon and the evil Lord Darkenon while inside the Temple of Poseidon. The attraction had a bit of a cult following, especially in recent years. The attraction was well-known for its spectacular themeing, including the iconic massive trident at the entrance, and an incredible “water vortex” effect. It’s beginning to look a lot like Haunt season! SeaWorld Orlando and Busch Gardens Tampa have kicked off a new, limited-time Mayhem sale from May 8 through May 14 for this year’s Howl-O-Scream event. Guests can take advantage and save on the “Mayhem”, which offers admission to the fan-favorite Halloween event for $36.99. Guests can now purchase the “Mushroom” bowl used to serve Tomato Soup & Super Mushroom Soup for $19.99 (or from Bowser’s Fireball Challenge for $29.99) when ordering at Toadstool Cafe. SeaWorld Orlando has announced that Pipeline: The Surf Coaster will officially open on May 27th. Passholders will get the first crack at the new roller coaster, with passholder previews beginning May 12th. https://twitter.com/SeaWorld/status/1652734974225702912?s=20 Riders will surf up to heights of 110-feet in the air and feel like they are about to wipe out when they go upside down on a wave curl along the 2,950 feet of track. Universal Orlando is now accepting submissions for Halloween Horror Nights, looking for Haunted House and Street Performers to perform as Scareactors, Stilt Walkers, and Puppeteers.
