Universal Orlando has announced The Museum: Deadly Exhibits, a new original haunted house that will be featured at Halloween Horror Nights 33. DreamWorks Land is scheduled to open at Universal Studios Florida this summer. We were kindly invited by Universal Orlando for a first look “sneak peek” at the new kid-themed land before it opens to the public on June 14, 2024. The new area will allow guests to enter “the vivid world and imagination of DreamWorks Animation”, offering up fun for the entire family – with multiple interactive play areas, live entertainment, character meet and greets, and more. Knott’s Berry Farm has announced they will be celebrating the 90th anniversary of Mrs. Knott’s Chicken Dinner Restaurant with celebrations throughout the year. The story of Mrs. Knott’s Chicken Dinner Restaurant begins in the 1920s when Walter and Cordelia Knott began farming their acres of leased land in the farm community of Buena Park. To make ends meet, Cordelia began serving hot biscuits and homemade preserves to customers of the family’s roadside produce stand. Announcement season has begun as Universal Orlando has announced Slaughter Sinema 2 will be one of the 10 haunted houses featured at this year’s Halloween Horror Nights 33 at Universal Orlando. The house was announced during a panel at Spooky Empire, where a Halloween Horror Nights panel was held. Slaughter Sinema 2 is a sequel to 2018’s Slaughter Sinema, spoofing B-movie horror films. The house will take place at the “Carey Drive-in” and will feature 8 different “films” inspired by creature features, grindhouse gore, spaghetti westerns, and more. Universal Orlando has announced dates for DreamWorks Land’s Passholder Previews, taking place on select times on May 24 – 27, 2024. On May 21, Annual Passholders will be able to make a reservation for themselves and up to eight more Passholders to experience the all-new themed land. You can make the reservation here.
