Universal Orlando has opened the Halloween Horror Nights Tribute Store – an immersive retail location designed to celebrate Horror Nights, with themed rooms decked with specialty merchandise, a variety of unique treats, and more.
During yesterday’s Previews, team members and passholders were able to get a sneak peek at the store. This year’s theme is a horror comic book come to life – which seems like it’s safe to say that the Tribute Store is heavily inspired by the horror anthology film, Creepshow.
Each room features a different tale: Grave Consequences, False Idols: Part 1 – A Boris Shuster Mystery, Pay Up!, and Eyes of the Ripper.
The standout room is definitely False Idols, which is completely monochromatic – save for the pop of red that comes from the eyes of the creature. The room also uses some pretty clever special effects to simulate comic book rain; with a high-contrast black & white style similar to what you see in the film, Sin City.
Guests will be able to find all merchandise from this year’s event – including Chucky, The Last of Us, Universal Monsters, and Stranger Things.
In the “Pay Up!” portion, guests will find sweet treats themed to the different franchises featured this year, as well as some original concoctions.
Halloween Horror Nights 32 takes place on select nights from September 1, 2023, thru November 4, 2023.
