Universal has announced that The Nighttime Lights at Hogwarts Castle, the nightly show that takes place in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Hogsmeade, will undergo an extended closure for “future show enhancements”.
The last showings will be held on May 9, 2023.
Universal has not announced a timeframe on when shows will resume, or what type of enhancements are being made.
Debuting in 2018, the Nighttime Lights of Hogwarts Castle uses lighting, fireworks, and projection imagery on the iconic Hogwarts Castle; highlighting the 4 different houses of the popular franchise – Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, Slytherin, and Gryffindor.
