Universal Studios Hollywood has announced that the “Dark Arts at Hogwarts Castle” nighttime show will be returning this March, with select dates starting March 25 through August 13, 2023.
Illuminating a darker side of the Wizarding World, this spectacular new light projection experience will be a departure from previous “The Nighttime Lights at Hogwarts Castle” and “The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle.” “Dark Arts at Hogwarts Castle” will bring more intense tones and drama that reflect the Dark creatures and wizards that challenge goodness in the Wizarding World.
Per Universal’s website: As darkness falls at Hogwarts castle, Dementors, Death Eaters, and other unspeakable creatures cloak the stone walls with sinister images from the darker side of magic. Experience the fire-engulfed army of Inferi, the soul-draining breath of Dementors, and the haunting image of Lord Voldemort as you stare in awe at the castle’s takeover.
The select dates March-August, from dusk to Park close are:
- March 25 – April 9
- May 27 – 29
- June 17 – August 13
