Universal Orlando

Universal’s Mardi Gras: International Flavors of Carnaval continues this week. On February 18, Maren Morris will be performing live at the Music Plaza Stage after Saturday’s parade. On February 19, WILLOW will be performing live.

Taking place from February 4 through April 16, 2023, Universal’s Mardi Gras: International Flavors of Carnaval – features a dazzling Mardi Gras parade, mouthwatering cuisine inspired by global Carnaval celebrations, and, on select nights, live concerts. For more information, visit here.

Refurbishments

Popeye & Bluto’s Bilge-Rat Barges at Islands of Adventure is closed for its annual Winter refurbishment. The ride is expected to reopen on March 11, 2023.

Me Ship, The Olive at Islands of Adventure is closed for refurbishment. The ride is expected to reopen on March 11, 2023.

Kopiko Wai Winding River at Volcano Bay is closed for refurbishment. The attraction is scheduled to reopen on February 15, 2023.

Universal Studios Hollywood

Super Nintendo World’s Grand Opening is set for February 17, 2023. The land will not be opening for Technical Rehearsals this week as Universal prepares the land for Media Previews and Opening Ceremonies.

Universal will be hosting a Super Nintendo World Opening Celebration Livestream on Wednesday, February 15, 2023, at 8 pm.

Universal Studios Hollywood is celebrating the Year of the Rabbit as they have announced that Hollywood & Dine will temporarily become the specially-themed Noodle House for the Lunar New Year. Guests will be able to enjoy Asian cuisine at the restaurant from January 19 through February 28.
