SeaWorld Orlando has announced new details for this year’s Howl-O-Scream 2022 event, including the return of a reimagined Captain’s Revenge haunted house, a new scarezone, and more.
Returning for its 2nd year, Captain’s Revenge will be “newly-imagined” – now featuring the subtitle, Drowned in Darkness. Per the website’s description:
Lilting melodies and whispers of untold fortune lured you aboard. Now those haunting echoes have been drowned out by howling winds and crashing waves. You may just find yourself a permanent part of this crew, driven mad by cursed treasure and doomed to face the fury of the sea. Darkness is here, and she’s not letting you violate her waters and escape to shore. Make no mistake: Your ship has not come in
Also announced for this year’s event is the returning Longshoremen Tavern and the new scarezone, Cut Throat Cove. The zone will feature restless pirates seeking revenge on the living through the remnants of a horrific shipwreck.
SeaWorld also announced that Manta, the flying coaster, will be open for some awesome nighttime riding at the event.
