Universal Orlando Resort has provided a sneak peek of the food and drink options that will be offered at its newest and eighth hotel, Universal’s Endless Summer Resort – Dockside Inn and Suites, opening this month on March 17.
The all-American Pier 8 Market offers casual dining for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The menu will offer extra-affordable options for everyone from comfort foods, fresh salads and sandwiches, desserts, and a variety of convenient grab-and-go options; with all dishes priced under $12.
Some of the items that can be found on the menu include the Dockside Wrap, pastrami with swiss cheese, coleslaw and french fries; The Joey Sandwich, which is a hoagie with salami, capicola, soppressata, provolone cheese, roasted red pepper and toppings; the BBQCB, a burger with smoked bacon, cheddar, onion rings and bourbon bbq sauce; and the Hook and Batter, the market’s fish & chips. For dessert, you can order a S’mores panini, with all the traditional S’mores fixings – ginger-flavored bread with milk chocolate, and marshmallow.
And yes, the market can accommodate guests’ dietary needs, such as vegan options.
Dockside Inn and Suites will have a lobby bar – the Sunset Lounge – serving specialty cocktails and craft beer, including the hotel’s own mango blonde called the Sunset Blonde. At the pool, The Oasis Beach Bar will offer refreshing, beach-inspired beverages. According to the Universal blog, the drinks at the Oasis Beach pool bar are named after the Wet n’ Wild – including the Bubba Tub, Disco H20, and the Mach 5.
The Bubba Tub is the bar’s signature 32oz drink, served in a souvenir Dockside bucket that all cocktails from the bar menu can be upgraded to.
With the addition of Dockside Inn and Suites and the 750-room Surfside Inn and Suites, the two Universal’s Endless Summer Resort hotels will add 2,800 rooms to the destination – bringing the total room count at Universal Orlando Resort to 9,000 rooms by the end of 2020.
