Universal Studios Hollywood held its second run event on November 16th under their Running Universal series, with the Jurassic World Run.
The route for the run goes throughout Universal Studios Hollywood, including the famous Backlot; filled with twists, turns, ups, and downs before ending up at the finish line just inside of Universal CityWalk at the 5 Towers stage.
Along the way, runners encountered characters and props from the iconic film franchise, including an appearance by Blue, the beloved Velociraptor. Runners got into the Jurassic World spirit, dressing up as characters from the franchise, including some even running the event as dinosaurs.
As the run came to an end, participants crossing the finish line were awarded Jurassic World-themed finisher medals, with the T-Rex for the 5K medal, and Idominus Rex for the 10K. Guests who purchased the VIP Package were treated to a post-race breakfast inside Vivo or Antojitos.
The next Running Universal event at Universal Studios Hollywood is set for April 26, 2020 and will be featuring Trolls.
