Universal Studios Hollywood has announced that Holidayz in Hell, a new original haunted house, will be featured at this year’s Halloween Horror Nights 2019 during a Monsterpalooza panel today.
A creepy Cupid, a blood-thirsty bunny, and a terrifying mutant turkey are just a few of the creatures you’ll have to evade in this year’s all-new, completely original maze – Holidayz in Hell! #UniversalHHN pic.twitter.com/1LYYz2p4zR

The maze will feature an original score by Electronic Music Artist and Producer Figure and offer guests new reasons to dread the holidays. The maze is set to include scenes featuring a tortured Tunnel of Love, inhabited by a crazed Cupid on a quest for hearts to break or take; an unhinged Uncle Sam will create a sinister “July 4th killerbration”; treacherous turkeys; and a sick Santa will adorn Christmas Trees with human body parts, with many other milestone killer holidays. Guests will eventually exit the maze into a creepy Christmas-themed scare zone titled “Christmas in Hell”.
The maze will be located in the Parisian Courtyard in the Upper Lot the park.
Featured as a scare zone in the Metro area at last year’s event, the zone featured a variety of twisted characters based on popular holidays – including an Evil Elf, Mrs. Claus & Krampus, and “The Turkey Pilgrim” – a demonic-looking, humanoid turkey, dressed as a pilgrim.
Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Hollywood is set to begin on Friday, September 13, 2019.
