Sapphire Falls hasn’t opened yet, but the rumors are picking up about Universal Orlando’s next hotel.
First reported by GrowthSpotter, and followed up by the Orlando Business Journal, it seems Universal Orlando has filed the paperwork and plans to begin work soon on its 6th hotel adjacent to Sapphire Falls.
The hotel, currently rumored to be the “Aventura Hotel”, will include 600 rooms in one tower; and be built on about six acres. Below is a overview of the hotel area, with the rumored spot circled in blue.
For a quick lesson – Aventura is Spanish for Adventure, so one would be lead to believe the style of the resort would be Spanish-inspired.
As of now, this is just a rumor, as Universal Orlando has not officially confirmed it is happening.
