Universal Orlando has started to roll out a new campaign to begin the hype as we get closer to the opening of Skull Island: Reign of Kong this Summer.
The new website “Myth Explorer” is a fictionalized adventure quest-type show, similar to those that can be seen on the History Channel. Here is description for the new “show”:
World-traveling adventurer Erin Ryder leads a thrilling expedition to find the truth about Skull Island—the legendary home of King Kong. Erin and her team journey across the South Indian Ocean and come face-to-face with dangers that the classic story claimed were destroyed nearly a century ago. If Skull Island still exists, does that mean Kong does too?
The website also released a teaser trailer for her expedition to Skull Island.
