Universal Orlando announced today that they will be expanding the popular Cabana Bay Beach Resort.
Opening in 2017, the expansion will consist of two additional towers that will be located at the south end of the property, adjacent to the Continental and Americana guest towers.
Select rooms in the new towers will offer spectacular views of Universal’s Volcano Bay – the resort’s new “water theme park” – which also opens in 2017.
Cabana Bay Beach Resort opened last year in 2014 and was a very popular choice for tourists and fans alike for their vacation stay.
The announcement is just another piece of Universal’s continuing push to expand rapidly. 2017 is shaping up to be a busy year as Universal is expected to have the Cabana Bay Expansion, Sapphire Falls Resort, Volcano Bay water park, AND Fast & Furious: Supercharged all open.
More information is expected to be released later.
