Disney has announced that DisneyQuest will close next year. The interactive “theme park” opened in 1998.
The NBA Experience – a new experience announced last month – will replace DisneyQuest sometime in 2016.
The change is part of Downtown Disney’s transformation into Disney Springs.
DisneyQuest originally was a project that Disney planned to open nationwide, but the project was halted after its lack of interest and low attendance in DisneyQuest Chicago.
