Raptors have arrived!
The Raptor Encounter has debuted in the Jurassic Park section of Islands of Adventure.
The new Meet & Greet encounter is located between Camp Jurassic and the Jurassic Park Discovery Center, in an area formerly used by the Triceratops Encounter. There, guests can take a photo with the 9- foot- tall wild raptor. In case you were wondering, there are 2 Raptors featured in the encounter – Lucy and Ethel.
The addition seems to be heavily influenced by Jurassic World – which opens in theaters June 12 – where Chris Pratt’s character has “tamed” the carnivores.
