[tps_title]4. Woody Woodpecker’s KidZone and Seuss Landing[/tps_title]
It’s obvious but both areas are heavily geared towards children where it would be silly not to mention how great each land is.
KidZone gets a bad rap compared to other areas of the park. Yes, it’s showing its age, but there’s no denying that it’s fun for those who are young, young at heart, and those who are nostalgic.
E.T. is the signature attraction of KidZone. It will always hold a special place in my heart and the hearts of many who are suckers for nostalgia. Animal Actors Live is a grossly underrated stage show. Who doesn’t love animals?
However the real fun to be had here is in the Curious George Goes to Town area. A huge playground featuring a “water playground” with all kinds of splash zones to keep the little ones cool on a hot summer day. The Ball Factory is another fun area as well as you can have a war with your friends.. or kids.. I guess. Don’t forget Woody’s Nuthouse Coaster! The land could use some upgrades, but it’s still fun!
Over in Seuss, the stories of the wildly imaginative stories come to life, and offer your children a nice break from the thrills around Islands of Adventure. If I Ran the Zoo is great little playground to let the kids burn off some energy. You also may never know which Seussian character you may bump into!
