Glad to hear they’re bringing it back.
Universal City, California— “Terror Tram: Scream 4 Your Life,” based on the latest installment of Wes Craven’s “Scream” film series, will unleash the iconic “Ghostface Killer” on the world-famous backlot during Halloween Horror Nights® at Universal Studios HollywoodSM. Mirroring the “Scream 4” film concept of a “movie-within-a-movie” theme, the “Terror Tram: Scream 4 Your Life” experience will introduce guests to the fictional “Stab” slasher film franchise and beckon them to visit the production of “Stab 8,” currently “shooting on location on the backlot.”
The fantasy world of movies collides with reality when “Terror Tram: Scream 4 Your Life” guests are transported through Universal’s famed backlot—-the heart of the world’s most famous horror moviemaking studio—and find themselves being stalked by one of the most dangerous slashers in horror history: Ghostface.
“Terror Tram: Scream 4 Your Life” casts guests as victims in this living horror film and elevates the “Halloween Horror Nights” experience to astounding new levels of blood-curdling realism.
To create the ultimate “Halloween Horror Nights” nightmare, Universal Studios Hollywood assembled a horror “dream team” of filmmakers and stars who are serving as creative consultants to Universal’s Creative Director, John Murdy. The team includes director, writer, producer and actor Eli Roth, who will present the new maze, “Eli Roth’s Hostel: Hunting Season,” the legendary rocker Alice Cooper, who will present “Alice Cooper: Welcome to My Nightmare,” and multi-platinum recording artist and filmmaker Rob Zombie who returns with “Rob Zombie’s House of 1000 Corpses: In 3D ZombieVision.” “The Thing: Assimilation,” inspired by Universal Pictures’ upcoming thriller, will add to the Hollywood horror clout.
“Halloween Horror Nights” 2011 will bring unprecedented star power to an array of unrivaled, film production quality mazes uniquely themed to today’s most definitive horror properties and deliver the most compelling, spine-chilling, haunted attractions. All-new terror filled “scare zones,” original shows and the popular “Terror Tram: Scream 4 Your Life” will be among the “Halloween Horror Nights” offerings.
The theme park’s favorite thrill-ride attractions will also remain open for “Halloween Horror Nights,” one with a menacing twist. “Jurassic Park® In the Dark” makes its seasonal debut, while guests can still enjoy favorites like “The Simpsons RideTM” and “Revenge of the MummySM – The Ride.”
