Universal Studios Hollywood Photo Update (June 22, 2008),

Little over a month from opening, the floor in front of the attraction has already shown signs of peeling and gum. Universal has already begun reconstruction of the floor in front of the Simpsons Ride, piece by piece.
This update includes the aftermath of the Universal backlot fire, as well as a look at the Simpsons ride.
